About Amy Baernstein
Amy Baernstein, M.D., is a board-certified physician who provides primary care at the UWMC-Roosevelt Women's Health Care Center and a UW associate professor of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Baernstein enjoys working at the UW because it allows her to care for a spectrum of patients, from those who are healthy and want to stay that way to those who live with complex conditions and need coordination among multiple specialists. She enjoys partnering with patients to achieve their personal health goals.
Dr. Baernstein earned her M.D. at Cornell. Her clinical interests include women's health and preventative health care. She also enjoys teaching medical students clinical skills while mentoring them on professional issues and career paths.
