About Dawn M. Taniguchi
Dawn Taniguchi, M.D., M.P.H., is a University of Washington Clinical Assistant Professor board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Taniguchi works at Harborview Medical Center's Pioneer Square Clinic, Third Avenue Clinic, and inpatient Addiction Consult Service.
Dr. Taniguchi enjoys forming strong, collaborative patient-physician relationships over time to meet the unique need of each patient. Her goal is to educate, support and empower individuals in their pursuit of health.
Dr. Taniguchi earned her M.D. from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago and her M.P.H. from the UW. Her clinical and research interests include healthcare for the homeless, addiction medicine, preventative medicine, general internal medicine and treatment of chronic diseases in the global health setting.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Taniguchi enjoys spending time with family, hiking, camping and photography.
