About Elizabeth A. Kaplan
Elizabeth Kaplan, M.D., is a board certified physician at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of General Internal Medicine. She also works with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center's Survivorship Program and is a UW School of Medicine college mentor.
Dr. Kaplan hopes to form a partnership with patients and take care of them as a whole person. She feels privileged to listen to patients’ stories. She also believes in working closely and collaboratively with all members of a patient's care team to improve communication and patient's health care experience.
Dr. Kaplan earned her M.D. from UC San Francisco. Her clinical and research interests include medicine consultation, perioperative medicine, cancer survivorship and hospital medicine.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Kaplan enjoys hiking, spending time with family and being outdoors.
