About Hana Pamella Hewitt
Hana Hewitt, A.R.N.P., is a board certified nurse practitioner in Acute Pain and Chronic Pain Services at UW Medical Center and a UW teaching associate of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Hewitt's goal as a pain specialist is to partner with patients and their families to develop an individualized treatment plan to relieve, reduce, and manage pain to help patients improve functionality so they can return to their everyday activities.
Hewitt received her medical education at UW Bothell and completed the A.R.N.P. program at Seattle Pacific University. Her background includes managed care, treating and managing chronic conditions, including pain, and working with caregivers and families to coordinate, schedule and implement home healthcare services. She has also served as a clinical nurse instructor at Bellevue College and has extensive R.N. experience with acute care in a hospital setting. Hewitt is an active member of the American Pain Society and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Personal Interests
Hewitt's interests include snow skiing, traveling, gourmet cooking and spending time with friends and family.
