About Mary Kauffman
Mary Kauffman M.D. practices at the Family Health Clinic at Hall Health Center. She is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Kauffman earned her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She came to the University of Washington in 1996 for her Master of Public Health program in epidemiology and maternal and child health. She continued at the UW for her residency in family medicine and her chief residency and faculty development fellowship. She joined the UW faculty in 2003.
Dr. Kauffman's clinical interests include health habits, health promotion, preventive medicine, parenting and care of families. and care of college students, graduate students and university populations.
She enjoys learning about her patients’ lives and challenges. She particularly enjoys taking care of children, young adults, and young families.
Personal Interests
Dr. Kauffman enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her personal interests include reading, photography and graphic arts, exercise, and travel.
