Whitney Thomas, RD, CDE, is a registered dietitian who sees patients at multiple UW Medicine Primary Care locations.

Thomas sees her role as a dietitian to provide patients with the information and tools they need to play an active role in their nutritional wellness. She believes food is a significant part of who we are and where we came from, and she loves to show patients how their favorite foods can be part of a healthy lifestyle.

Thomas earned her RD at Cal State Fresno. Her clinical and research interests include Thomas Diabetes education and management, disease prevention, integrative medicine, all aspects of diabetes care, culinary skills, meal planning and mindful eating practices
