About Sally Elizabeth Rampersad
Sally Rampersad, M.D., is a board certified pediatric anesthesiologist and director for quality improvement in Anesthesiology at Seattle Children's Hospital and a UW associate professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Rampersad provides anesthesia for children of all ages, including children with cancer who need procedures, radiation therapy or proton beam therapy. Dr. Rampersad feels it is an honor to walk alongside these brave kids and their amazing families at such a challenging time in their lives.
Dr. Rampersad earned her M.D. at the University of Southampton in England. She is board certified in both Pediatric Anesthesiology and Anesthesiology. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rampersad is an advocate for patient safety, co-chairing the Quality and Safety Committee for the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and representing Children's at the Wake Up Safe group within the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia. She is also a Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor.
Personal Interests
When she is not doing the job that she loves, Dr. Rampersad can often be found at a local swimming pool cheering for her girls and their swim teams.
