About Ty W. Lostutter

Ty Lostutter, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist who specializes in psycho-oncology, substance use, and mental health. Dr. Lostutter provides a collaborative approach between he and his patients to identify and treatment the problems facing the patient. He offers clients evidence-base treatment using a Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to teach effective coping skills to address the patient's problems. His goals is help the patients understand themselves and offers support in behavioral changes they are seeking to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Lostutter's expertise is trained to assess and deliver evidence-base psychological treatments for a a variety of mental health issues.

Dr. Lostutter is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, and he is the Director of the UW School of Medicine's Psychology Internship Program
